South West Sydney Legal Service was established in 1986 to deliver free legal services for people living or working in the South West Sydney Local Government Areas of Liverpool, Fairfield and Bankstown.
Our clients are people who are facing injustice, abuse, hardship or discrimination, they would struggle to afford private fees to access the legal system.
The case studies are a selection of real stories demonstrating how we help individuals. Names have been changed to align with our strong confidentiality guidelines.
Our experienced staff are the back-bone to our successful services. Their passion and dedication are constantly evolving to express the needs of their customers.
Our board is made up of independent, volunteers. Members come from the broader community and support the principles of social justice and equality.
